Hi, I’m Ben, a Dorset wedding photographer based between Wareham and Swanage on the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. I specialise in full-day weddings, capturing the genuine moments, people and atmosphere of your day in a natural, relaxed and timeless documentary style. With over 300 weddings photographed since 2019, I know how to tell your story while keeping you feeling comfortable and completely at ease.
Natural and Timeless Editing
I carefully edit every photograph to compliment the way your wedding looked and felt on the day. My editing is natural and timeless, with beautiful skin tones, natural-looking colours and a subtle, refined finish. I avoid heavy filters and passing trends, creating photographs that will feel just as beautiful years from now.

Ben photographed our wedding in July 2023 at Kingston Country Courtyard, Dorset, and the whole experience that Ben provided was fantastic! From sending out the first message to book Ben, the wedding photography process has been a blast! Ben himself was fantastic, not just on the day but in the lead up to the wedding and afterwards. Ben really took the time and care to communicate with us and listen to what was important to us. He was also ever so prompt at responding to any queries we had.
Ben brings such a great energy and really puts you at ease. One of our favourite parts of the entire day, was our couples photoshoot around the old streets of Swanage. We had so much fun! I really appreciated all his suggestions too, as it meant we got some fantastic pictures.

We recently had Ben and his second shooter at our wedding on NYE. We had already had an engagement shoot with Ben, so we knew we loved his photos... but my god... we are blown away with what he/they have captured already, and we have only got as far as having the sneak peek previews through! He is a magician behind the camera. We absolutely loved having you both as part of our day (he even worked a 14 hour shift on his own birthday!) and we can't wait to see what else there is to come! As a person he is calming, quiet (yet assertive when needed to direct people etc) and completely blended in without having that 'in your face' feel that some photographers have. If we were to do it all over again we would pick Ben again and again. Thank you for everything!
The Complete Process in a Nutshell
If you have made it this far down the page, thank you! Next I would encourage you to get in touch via my contact form. This is your opportunity to not only find out if I am available on your wedding date but also tell me about all the exciting details I should know about!
Step 1 - Once I have received your enquiry I will be in touch within 24 hours, unless it is a busy summer weekend of weddings or I am on holiday. But I will always do my best to get back to you as soon as I can. I always love to reply with as much information as I can, if I have photographed at your venue before I will be more than happy to share a gallery so you know what to expect. I will also invite you to a zoom call and send you a quote comparing my different packages.
Step 2 - During the zoom call love to chat about wedding plans, every wedding is unique and I really love find out what makes yours different! This is also a great time to ask me any questions you have about anything wedding photography related really, fire away! After the call I will send you a wedding contract, once this is signed and the 25% booking fee is paid the booking is then completed!
Step 3 - If your wedding package includes a pre-wedding photo shoot I will be in touch shortly after the booking has been confirmed to chat about getting you booked in.
Step 4 - Six weeks before your wedding you will receive an email from me to schedule a meeting to run through the exact timings and details for the day so I know exactly what is going to happen and when, this step is extremely important as it helps me capture every moment.
Step 5 - Have the best day of your life, I can’t wait to document your wedding! You will receive a generous preview of your wedding day within three days, I love to deliver these really quickly when the couple are on their honeymoon because it is always just a nice surprise for you. The full gallery will be ready in 8-12 weeks. Trust me, it is worth the wait!
